Although this, the fourth edition of the book, bears on its cover the name of one author only, its title-page shows that it is the joint work of two, each responsible for his own portion. Part I on " The Electrical Apparatus " is by Dr. Lewis Jones, the fifth edition of whose book on medical electricity has been recently reviewed in these columns; while Part II on "Medical and Surgical Applications" is by Dr. Walsh.
